The Oklahoma Big Three finally showed some good basketball. After a horiffic end of the season for Carmelo Anthony and Paul George. They came through in the playoffs. In the last month of the regular season the shot under 30% from deep and had some awful games. That was very worring for the Thunder.
Fortunately for the Thunder, both of them snapped out of this bad streak and played very well against the Jazz. Especially George. He was unstopablle from outside. Jazz couldn’t find an answer for him. He scored franchise record, 8 three-pointers, and he was going 13-20 from the field. Scoring 36 points with 7 rebounds.
Westbrook also played a great game, nearly snatching a triple-double with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists and Melo scored 15 point, most of them in the first quarter. They now lead 1-0 in the series, got a good game from their Big Three but there were some bad news, also.
