The usefulness of the agreements will be visible at the next edition of the trilateral malabar naval exercise, which is due to take place in November, said the first source. As The Hindu has already pointed out, an informal consensus has been reached to invite Australia to participate in The Malabar Exercise, but the formal invitation has not yet been renewed. It is not yet known whether Canberra will be invited to this year`s edition. Rosatom is building six nuclear reactor units at the Kudankulam site in Tamil Nadu. Two units are already in service and the next four are in different stages of implementation. This is in line with the “Strategic Vision” document signed in 2014 between President Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India attaches great importance to the local production of equipment and components for future and future nuclear projects designed by Russia in India. The defence of relations is one of the strongest pillars of india-Russia relations and has stood the test. With Russia`s cooperation, India has secured capacity building in strategic areas through the acquisition and development of weapons. The relationship develops from the traditional buyer-seller relationship with common production and development, with an emphasis on the exchange of technologies. Russia has committed to becoming a partner in the “Make in India” programme. At the international level, the two countries have similar positions and coordinate their actions. We work closely with UN, G20 and G20 groups, as well as in the various structures in the Asia-Pacific region, such as ASEAN and the East Asia Summit. Russia supported India`s accession to the CSO and India was admitted in 2017 as a full member of the CSSM. The first major political initiative since the collapse of the Soviet Union between India and Russia began with the strategic partnership signed between the two countries in 2000. In an article he wrote in Hindu, President Vladimir Putin said: “The declaration on the strategic partnership between India and Russia, signed in October 2000, has become a real historic milestone.”   Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also endorsed his counterpart during President Putin`s visit to India in 2012: “President Putin is a valued friend of India and the original architect of the strategic partnership between India and Russia.”  The two countries cooperate closely on issues of common national interest, including the United Nations, the BRICS, the G20 and the CSSM.
